RoadTrip

In June, 2011 I embarked on a cross-country, soul-searching Road Trip to rediscover my mental and physical health, my relationships with myself and other people, and the country in which I live.  I am chronicling my journey in photos and story.  You can view my latest posting, which may be a few days to a week or so old depending on internet access, on the homepage of this blog.

My trip is complete and I ‘tripped’ through (at least part way) the following states:

  • New York

    The Open Road

  • New Jersey
  • Pennsylvania
  • West Virginia
  • Ohio
  • Indiana
  • Illinois
  • Iowa
  • South Dakota
  • Wyoming
  • Montana
  • Idaho
  • Washington State
  • British Columbia, Canada
  • Oregon
  • California
  • Nevada
  • Utah
  • Arizona
  • New Mexico
  • Texas
  • Louisiana
  • Alabama
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Tennessee
  • North Carolina
  • Virginia
  • Maryland
  • Delaware
  • Vermont
  • Massachusetts

It will take me a while to catch up on the writing from the trip – I hope you enjoy reading about the journey!

  1. You are truly the most adventurous person I have known. I can’t wait for your next blog. I feel like I am reading a “Harry Potter” novel and can’t wait for the next installment.

  2. How wonderful to be able to hitch a ride with you to share your journey of self discovery and reconnection…
Reading such heartfelt words touch the base of my very soul as I imagine each experience you encounter as a precious jewel to behold…

Go well and travel safe Leif we’re all there in spirit with you. X

  3. Wow, thanks for inviting me along on this adventure. The journey and your thoughts inspire me.

I especially loved the comments about the river and the stories. Hesse’s Siddhartha has many references to the river and the language of the river too.

    thanks – travel well

    Dave

  4. Thanks for inviting me to the moving (in many senses of that word) place you are in. Keep showing up as you are. Be attentive and open to outcome!

  5. Stopped by again to catch up on where you are and where you’re at. I’m loving reading and feeling a real sense of your experience and journey travelled…

I have such a different understanding of you now than when I first met you, not only did I feel you were very much a beautiful man then, your continuing discovery of self and the never ending pathway which you tread has shown me the deepest depths of your wonderful dancing soul.

    Gorgeous!
